Twigín
Twigín is a sustainable Irish gift brand by Kerry artist Ciara O’Connor. At the heart of her work are thread drawings—intricate, stitched portraits celebrating Irish culture, from history-shaping icons to contemporary life. A visual love letter to Ireland, these unique images are mindfully printed on notebooks, cards, mugs, totes and fine art prints.
To complement her vision, Ciara partners with ethical Irish suppliers who prioritize green energy and sustainable production.

Rosina Law-Braney
Rosina Law-Braney is a feminist artist and children’s illustrator working across digital illustration, printmaking, murals, embroidery, zines and independent publishing. Her colourful, playful practice explores contemporary womanhood, relationships, identity and the messy realities of everyday life, alongside whimsical storytelling that appeal to children. Drawing on humour, pop culture and personal experience, Rosina creates bold, relatable work. She is passionate about accessible, community-focused art and regularly facilitates creative workshops that encourage connection, expression and fun.
Aia Leu
Aia Leu is a Kenmare based artist, illustrator and publisher with an artistic background. Her landscape paintings are inspired by nature, symbolism and artefacts.
She has experience in collaborative creative groups and is one of the founding members of the Kenmare Courtyard Gallery.
Avilés Fragrances
Luis Avilés Ortiz is an artisan perfumer based in Kenmare, County Kerry, and founder of Avilés Fragrances. He creates small-batch fragrances by hand, guided by nature, personal stories and the connection between scent and place. His work includes personal perfumes, bespoke fragrance experiences and scents for the home. Luis combines natural ingredients with carefully selected modern materials, with a strong commitment to human and environmental safety. Through his practice, he helps people understand perfume and create meaningful relationships with scent.
Franziska Freitag
Franziska Freitag is a Kenmare-based artist and founder of Ciúnas Studio, creating artwork for interiors and hospitality spaces. Her practice explores landscape, geology, natural forms and the textures of the Irish environment through expressive layers of colour, movement and material. Working with interior designers, architects, hotels and private clients, Franziska develops bespoke artworks and colour palettes tailored to each space, creating distinctive pieces that enhance atmosphere while drawing on connections to South Kerry and West Cork, where she grew up.
Oliver Holbein
Oliver Holbein is a master carpenter, furniture maker, and the founder of Holbein Joinery, a bespoke manufacturing workshop based in Kerry, Ireland. Specialising in high-end architectural joinery and custom furniture, Oliver combines traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology—utilising advanced CNC machining, 3D parametric modeling, and lean manufacturing principles to deliver complex commercial and residential projects across Ireland.
Beyond the workshop, Oliver is deeply involved in regional development and local sustainability initiatives, serving on community committees in Kenmare focused on environmental stewardship, sports, and local tourism infrastructure.
Myfanwy Frost-Jones
Myfanwy Frost-Jones is a multidisciplinary artist based in Kenmare, County Kerry, whose practice explores place, cultural identity, migration, memory and the ways histories are recorded and preserved. Working across photography, moving image, sculpture and research, she draws on personal and community archives alongside historical and material research.
Her work often connects Ireland and Uganda, examining the relationships between people, landscape and inherited histories. She holds a BA in Fine Art from Crawford College of Art and Design and an MA in Art Research and Collaboration (ARC) from IADT.
Mieke Vanmechelen
Mieke Vanmechelen is a visual artist and filmmaker whose practice spans moving image, film and painting. Her work is shaped by an interest in people, place, landscape and the natural world. She works across documentary and experimental forms, drawing on observation, collaboration and lived experience. In 2021, she founded Fierce Quiet Films, extending her creative practice into independent filmmaking and storytelling.
Edit Design Studio
Edit Design Studio, founded by Justina Gruzdyte and Nathalie Vos, designs meaningful and beautiful homes and other spaces. We go beyond aesthetics, researching the materials and products that fill a space, so clients know their environment is genuinely good for them, not just beautifully designed. Steve Allin
Born in England, Steve came to Ireland in 1974 and settled in Kenmare in 1976. He established the International Hemp Building Association and has written, taught and advised internationally on hemp-based construction. His expertise in growing, harvesting and processing hemp led him to establish Stems Logic Ltd.
Fiachra Crowley
Fiachra Crowley is an artist and ceramicist who creates unique artwork and stoneware ceramics. His work explores the balance between art, design, and everyday use. He creates work of a simple aesthetic, considering form, colour, and pattern.
Fiachra produces distinctive collections made by hand in his home studio outside of Kenmare town, and runs an independent retail premises in the town. He also supplies bespoke commission pieces to hotels and restaurants throughout Ireland.
Una Bennett
Una Bennett is a Kerry-based contemporary landscape painter whose work explores sustained attention and engagement with place. Working primarily in oils, she translates landscape into simplified, interlocking geometric forms, organising pictorial space through colour, shape and structure.
More recently, her involvement in woodland restoration adds another dimension to her practice. This extends exploration of space from the pictorial to the physical and experiential, where observation and interpretation of the landscape become entangled with its physical transformation.
