Una Bennett
Una Bennett is a Kerry-based contemporary landscape painter whose work explores sustained attention and engagement with place. Working primarily in oils, she translates landscape into simplified, interlocking geometric forms, organising pictorial space through colour, shape and structure.
More recently, her involvement in woodland restoration adds another dimension to her practice. This extends exploration of space from the pictorial to the physical and experiential, where observation and interpretation of the landscape become entangled with its physical transformation.
