Living and working in Kenmare since 1988. Rosemary is a self-thought artist whose work is deeply rooted in the landscape of South Kerry. Mountains, bogs and the sea are recurring themes in her work. Her background as a Marine biologist informs particular affinity with the shoreline and the presence frequently explored in her art.
Rosemary also runs The Purcell Gallery , a fine art gallery in Kenmare, representing contemporary landscape artists who take their inspiration from the beauty of the Southwest of Ireland.
