Jon O’Connor

More than thirty years ago, a friend standing beside me as I hacked out a shape from an oak trunk suggested that I might be a renaissance man.
At the time I was unsure how to take the remark.
I now think it sums me up.
Here I am today, a carpenter, furniture maker. Woodturner, sculptor, painter.
A metal worker and blacksmith. A designer and maker of things.
A creative life and I am grateful for it.
